The Boyd Group Opens a New Location in Manitoba
December 12, 2011 — The Boyd Group Inc. (the “Boyd Group”) today announced the opening of a new Regent Avenue West location in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This location will operate as a full service autoglass repair and replacement facility, as well as a customer service centre for collision repair. The Boyd Group now owns and operates 11 locations in the Winnipeg market and 14 total in Manitoba.
The new facility will operate under the Boyd Autobody & Glass trade name and is approximately 3,600 square feet in size. It will be located in a high traffic location with the potential to gain market share in both glass and collision repair in the Transcona area. In addition to providing a convenient insurance claim service centre, the new facility is equipped to repair and replace automotive glass as well as cut flat glass for residential applications.
“This location is complementary to our existing footprint in Winnipeg and its position on a premium retail strip is naturally advantageous to capture business and enhance our presence throughout the greater Winnipeg market,” said Mr. Eric Danberg, President of the Boyd Group’s Canadian Operations.
